About Us

Marine Security Guard or MSG was founded in 2010 and it was organized as a California corporation in 2011. The company focuses on the Southern California market and provides a wide range of security services with highly trained and licensed security officers. MSG is wholly owned by H.R. Francis, Chairman and CEO, who is fully licensed by the state of California as a private security patrol operator and as a qualified manager, with a 2.5 million dollar insurance policy.

H. R. Francis is a 15 year veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, and a graduate of the U. S. Marine Corps Institute in Washington, DC. While serving as a Marine, he was a member of the elite “13th Marine Expeditionary Unit” or MEU (Blue Team), which was special operation capable. As a member of MEU, he has learned extensive security tactics, designed to protect U.S. embassies and interests around the world.

H.R. Francis also attended the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Skills & Warrior Training School (Special Operation Capable). He is also a graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Drill Instructor Academy, MCRD San Diego, California, where he served as a drill instructor. While serving as a drill instructor, he taught security tactics and other tactics relevant to new recruits at the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California.

In the early 1990’s, he exited the U.S. Marine Corps and attended the San Diego Law Enforcement Training Center, where he became a police officer. While serving as a police officer, he attended the California Law Enforcement Specialized Training Institute at San Luis Obispo, California. While there, he learned specialized Homeland Security tactics and other relevant police tactics, designed to protect people and communities. He possessed a degree in criminal justice, as pertaining to the laws of the state of California.

After retiring from the San Bernardino Police Department, H.R. Francis attended the Nampor Security Academy, in Oceanside, California and set out on a new venture designed to revolutionize the security industry. In April of 2011, Marine Security Guard or MSG was established as a private security company.
